• Make contacts with suppliers and clarify technical specifications.
• Reviews planned orders, creates requisitions for purchased items and manages approval process.
• Transmits and prioritizes approved purchase orders and supporting documents to the supplier.
• Tracks order acknowledgment, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers.
• Tracks orders and confirms system lead times, delivery dates, and costs.
• Reviews, updates, and maintains purchase orders until they are closed.
• Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies.
• Contributes to consolidating, reducing, and rationalizing supplier base.
• Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in, Business Administration and other related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role. (Energy sector is preferable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in Azeri, English, and Russian languages.
• Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions.
• Practical knowledge of Supply chain management
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• Schedule: Full-time work, Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00.
